To support its aggressive
expansion plan and compliment
its distinctive building design,
the ezStorage Corporation
needed a strong brand identity—
one that would set it apart from
the competition, positioning it as
a high-quality, safe, professional
and dependable company.

Brand building was essential to ezStorage,
the largest self-storage company in the
Maryland, D.C., and Virginia area. Our
strategy centered on creating the image of
a highly professional organization offering dependable quality and security. To do
this, we developed a simple logotype,
color palate and graphics system
and
applied these elements comprehensively
to all aspects of the corporation.
A comprehensive signage program
includes a complete range of signage
responding to numerous conditions, local
codes and site requirements. Consistent
configurations simplify the planning and
construction process for new facilities and
ensure brand recognition from location to
location.


Interior design throughout each facility
employs graphics, colors and materials
consistent with the overall branding
strategy. Readily available industrial
materials, such as perforated aluminum,
are employed to provide a distinctive look
at reasonable cost.
The branding program includes all
print communications, advertising
and collateral applications, ensuring
consistency and a highly professional
appearance.

An innovative and easy-to-use web site
was developed to help consumers find
locations, select appropriate size rental
units and reserve units on-line.


The construction of a new corporate
office provided the opportunity to extend
the overall branding strategy into this
important environment. We collaborated
with the architect in developing an
approach to interior design, materials
and finishes
that would convey a
seamless identity throughout their offices
and provide an inspiring and comfortable
work environment.
